Mr Raphael Rau was our tour guide in July 2010 when we visited London with a class of German students (age 18-19). We were very lucky to have Raphael taking care of us and steering us safely through the challenges and highlights of this megacity. As a native Londoner and person of sound judgement Raphael helped our students to stay away from trouble spots or tourists traps and enjoy their week in London. Most importantly, Raphael’s enthusiasm, his great sense of humour and his warm personality won our students’ hearts and opened their minds to take in the numerous facts and background information about the cultural sights of London. His academic studies in history and his wide range of interests (sport, music, film, art, literature …) make Raphael an ideal tour guide for any group of visitors and a very effective representative of British culture and life.
